The project's research assistants and public history interns supervise the preparation of transcripts and maintain the project correspondence. Their duties also include directing the work of the student interns, coordinating the interviewing schedule, and conducting preliminary pre-interview research. The Crandon Clark Scholarship recipient, a Rutgers College undergraduate, works to develop the project's Korean War collection. In 2003, Crandon Clark, RC '44, created this position for the purpose of honoring Rutgers alumni who served during the Korean War. Shaun Illingworth, Assistant Director
