Sandra Stewart Holyoak, (RC, 1997), director of the Oral History Archives, serves as the main interviewer for the majority of interviews conducted by the Oral History Archives, reviews all transcripts before they are returned to the interviewees, participates in local and national conferences and events as the project's spokesperson, and supervises the efforts of the project staff.

Thomas J. Frusciano, the University Archivist of Rutgers University, is responsible for processing and making available project interviews and other materials.

The project's research assistants and public history interns supervise the preparation of transcripts and maintain the project correspondence. Their duties also include directing the work of the student interns, coordinating the interviewing schedule, and conducting preliminary pre-interview research.

The Crandon Clark Scholarship recipient, a Rutgers College undergraduate, works to develop the project's Korean War collection. In 2003, Crandon Clark, RC '44, created this position for the purpose of honoring Rutgers alumni who served during the Korean War.
