Description:
Senator Lautenberg, a Paterson, New Jersey, native, served in the US Army Signal Corps in Europe during World War II. After earning a degree in economics at Columbia University on the GI Bill, he went on to co-found the Automatic Data Processing payroll services company, where he served as chairman and CEO. Senator Lautenberg served the State of New Jersey in the US Senate from 1982 to 2001. In 2003, he returned to office in the US Senate and continues to serve the Garden State there as of 2012. |
