Description:
Douglas G. Hearle grew up in New York City and attended Iona College from 1950-1954.  In 1952, Hearle joined the Naval Reserve and took part in numerous operations, including going to sea with the North Atlantic Destroyer Force in 1957-1958.  After his discharge, Hearle pursued a career as a communication consultant and journalist, and used the GI Bill to complete his MBA at Iona.
