Description:
Lester Carbone was born in 1930 in Red Bank, New Jersey.  Growing up in Red Bank, he played semi-pro baseball and even tried out for the Yankees.  Mr. Carbone enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Korean War.  After the war, he got married and worked as a mail carrier.
