Description:

Alice Pauline Sanders Juengst was born July 31, 1921, in Hollywood, Alabama. She attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. After college, Juengst volunteered to go to Arlington Hall, the headquarters for the Signal Corps. For five years, she worked on cryptology operations, trying to break Japanese codes during World War II.
