Description:
William F. Carver, Sr. was born in Richmond, New York in 1916.  He joined the Army at age 28 and served during World War II.  Carver served in the Philippines and the Pacific Theater with the 40th Infantry Division as a rifleman.  After the war, he worked for the A&P.
