Description:
Kenneth Mandel grew up in Newark, New Jersey before attending Rutgers College, graduating in 1969. At Rutgers, Mandel studied engineering and participated in the antiwar movement on campus. After his undergraduate studies, Mandel pursued a career in documentary filmmaking covering a wide variety of historical and engineering topics, and won an Emmy Award for his documentary work on General George Marshall. |
