Description:
Mel Wulf was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 1st, 1927. He attended the New York State Maritime Academy for two years. He went straight to the legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union, where he asked for a job. It just so happened that the director was looking for an assistant. Before Mel knew it, he had joined the ACLU staff in March of 1958.
