Description:

Mr. Mitterhoff was born and raised in Newark, NJ, graduating from Weequahic High School in 1940.  He enlisted in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and served as a radar observer and navigator on night fighters.  He completed 52 missions, serving in Italy, China and Burma.  After the war, he used the GI Bill to study business at Rutgers-Newark, then went into the printing business and, eventually, sales.
