Description:
Donald Bishop was born in 1924 in Presquils, Maine. In 1942, he joined the United States Marines, and would see combat against the Japanese at Guadalcanal, Cape Gloucester, and Pelieu. During his time in the Pacific, Mr. Bishop was recommended for a Silver Star and contracted Malaria. After the war, Bishop worked in various occupations, including work in law enforcement, construction, and vehicle operation.
