Description:
Born in 1935 in Plainfield, New Jersey, Arthur Miller grew up in the area during World War II and the Korean War.  His father manufactured goods for the American military, including life jackets and gloves.  Miller served in the military during the Cold War, and pursued a long career in law with firms in New York and New Jersey.  Miller was involved in the Civil Rights Movement in Middlesex County and also worked with the ACLU at various points in his career.
