Herbert H. Hersh was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 21, 1933. After graduating from New Brunswick High School in 1950, Mr. Hersh attended Rutgers College. He participated in ROTC, the Spanish Club and the International Relations Club, in addition to being a member of Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity. Mr. Hersh graduated in the Class of 1954 with a degree in political science. From 1954 to 1956, Mr. Hersh served in the U.S. Army. Over the course of his career, Mr. Hersh worked in banking and owned Keen Hats.
