Description:

Dr. William Neal Brown trained at Tuskegee Air Field and served as a special services officer with the 618th Bomb Squadron in the American Theater of Operations during World War II. He earned his BA at the Hampton Institute (now Hampton University) in Virginia, MSW from Columbia University in 1950 and Ph.D. in Human Growth and Development from City University of New York. He taught at the Rutgers School of Social Work from 1956 until his retirement in 1989.
